Must have for your Kindle

This is a must for your Kindle. It protects the screen, is easy to install, and gives your eBook a finished look. I never take the Kindle out of the cover, their is no problem charging it or downloading material using the USB link.

I love my new case, it fits into my purse so I can take it any place I go. It is durable, won’t get scratched up or marred in any way. People seem to know what it is from a distance and will come and ask me how I like my Kindle.
Kindle 2 Cover

Enjoying my Kindle Cover.Just a couple of things. I like the construction. It is durable, however a little heavy. A clip or zipper to close Kindle should be considered. I used Kindle on my recent long flight to Australia. I realy wanted to read without the overhead light but that was not possible. Consider a lighted screen.

padding on interior had air bubbles… reading reviews after the fact i found that other people had experienced the same problem. I reported the defect and was sent another new one but that one had same defect! must be a problem with the way these are made, but so far I’m 2/2
Still in love one month in

I was surprised by how much I loved my Kindle. Friends who are readers seemed to really like it. I bought because my wife is always nagging me about all the books we have already cluttering up the house. I was surprised by how it made reading books easier, simply because a book had to be held open with a thumb which can be tiring after a while. Also, a Kindle doesn’t loose your place if you fall asleep while reading. I also like how light and easy it is to carry it with me on business trips. One thin book sized item added to my briefcase verses the weight and space of 2 or 3 books I would always carry with me. Like being able to preview before ordering. Like being able to download a new book while waiting for a flight to take off so I’ll have it for the plane. I am also glad I got the leather cover because it keeps the Kindle protected. This might be psychological for me but I don’t want to scratch it or worse.
A few downsides:
1) Not all books are available through Kindle. Most are but more obscure ones are not.:(
2) Flight attendants make you put them away for takeoff and landing.
3) My wife has fallen for it as well. I’ve used bookmarks to mark my place versus her place so if we’re reading the same book we can pick-up where we both left off. The problem is that I haven’t figured out how to delete old book marks. So that means we have some modest pain finding eachothers last reading point depending on who is ahead of whom.
Overall, the format is a winner and the experience offered by Amazon is a winner. Don’t yet know whether the Kindle universe versus the other ebook vendors has more content but currently its working for me.
A MUST have for your Kindle

This is my second Kindle and my second cover and can’t imagine never having this! If I left the house without my cellphone, I’d turn around and go back. Now, I do that if I don’t have my Kindle with me!! Oh…and it’s perfect to relax with…draw a hot bath, pour a glass of wine and pop your Kindle into a ziplock bag (for protection—can’t do that with a “real book”).. ahhhhhhhh

I love this cover becasue it doesn’t make the device any heavier and it keeps it pretty well protected. I like the look of the leather because it reminds me of old leather-bound books. The only downside is that I wish it had a strap or a zipper to keep it closed. I just preferred the look of this one to all the other cover because it has the ability to snap in the Kindle 2. That is a major asset and regards of the fact that it does not have a way to keep the cover closed, it still serves its purpose. I carry it with me every day and I love that it protects my Kindle and doesn’t take up a lot of room in my tote that I take to work.
Slight separation of lining…

This product is perfect for protecting and storing your Amazon Kindle. However, about a month after I started using it the inside cover started to separate from hard backing. I now have a strange bubble on the inside cover. It does not impact my use of the product, but I would say the construction could be better.

I’m quite pleased with this cover. Inside it feels quite velvety. As your reading, you can feel the softness of the inside cover. It is very well padded and I never worry about the Kindle falling out. I considered buying a less expensive cover or a canvas type cover but am happy I made the decision to buy this one. I think the Kindle is safer in it. It was developed to protect the Kindle and does a wonderful job. I find that the clip on light works well with it also. This is a wonderful cover and don’t hesitate to buy it.
Kindle Leather Cover “The Original”

Absolutely 5 STARS. I love the entire cover, literally from front to back. Secures the Kindle2 within. I am not one to parade my electronic gadgets (regardless of the price tag). This cover was the best choice for me, proving the multitude of previous 5 star ratings. At a glance to others, my Kindle2 cover appears to be a small notebook of no great value, rather than a screaming brightly colored “status symbol” that wants to be snatched right (or left!!) out of your hand.
The only attribute I would add to this well designed and crafted cover is (whether you decide to purchase the additional 2 yr. warranty…just in case you haven’t secured the Kindle Reader into its cover), is a one inch – up to a one and one-half inch matching leather strap with a snap cap, sewn directly into the back jacket on center; finished off with a center snug snap closure on the front of the jacket for added security.
PS… My daughter highly suggested this cover to me. She too loves her Kindle products!!
