I Love This Gardening Tool
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I wish I would have bought this tool first. I could have saved myself from buying several others. It has everything right there – sharp pruners, saw and knife, plus screwdrivers (useful as picks too) and more. It is easy and safe to use – totally worth the money.

A Cut Above The Rest!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Had recently changed career’s from machanicing to the nursery industry after 27 years and decided to invest in a high quality set of pruner’s.Have had using and owning some of the best tool’s on the market like snap-on and other top of the line brand’s,I decided to look into the leatherman brand and located these little jewel’s. after giving them some time for use I can safely say that anyone else searching for a nice set of pruner’s should look into these. And for the weight issue with some other people, Come On! Give me a break!

Gardener’s Farmer’s Little Helper!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought the Genus as a birthday present to my father, who’s a farmer in Israel.

He spends lots of hours in the field or working in our yard, and usually uses a regular pruner, occasionally going to the car to grab a knife hand saw.

The genus is the perfect tool for him – The pruner is strong, sharp and steady (It’s a Leatherman after all), the added tools are easily accessible on one hand and secured on the other, the included Sheath is perfect, comfortable and keeps the tool very secured.

The Sharpening opening tool is comfortable, and serves it’s purpose well.

The knife Saw are well built, long enough to use and easily handled even with wet hands gloves (the locking mechanism is big enough).

My father uses the genus a lot, and since i gave it to him – his normal pruner is almost never used

Proudly Made in America!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Hands down one of the best tools I have ever purchased, and worth every penny! Yes it is costly but you MUST see the quality and durability of this American made product which I think is Made in Portland, OR if I am not mistaken.

I am tired of having to buy a new set of pruners every year, and this is heavy like a Craftsman, or SNAP-ON product. Yes it is heavy compared to most, but personally thats a PLUS for me, means its made well!

The Sheath is very sturdy and heavy grade poly fiber that would probably cost $30 at Lowes for a comparable product, and has a metal belt clip.

This is perfect gift for a serious gerdener, or someone who just enjoy high quality tools and gardening. Im think about getting one for my father for his birthday.

Happy gardening this fall and trimming those rose bushes back!

Useful Tool

A very useful tool to have around the small farm and vineyard. Saves having to carry multiple tools pulling down my pants. The pruner is very effective and the saw is a great addition.

A Little Heavy
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I am satisfied with the quality of the tool. The pruner works great. There is no problem with the other attached tools. But to attach extra tools means the weight of the tool is going to be noticeably heavier than a normal single function pruner. For light pruning this may be less of an issue but if you are prunning for a much longer time the extra weight begins to be noticeable. Is it worth the premium price to add extra weight from attached tools that are going to be used far less frequently?

Awesome gardening tool
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Must have for gardening enthusiasts. My brother got it for me, but then was lost at a wedding for the flowers. I like it so much I bought another one. Its very functional and useful to have a bunch of tools in the handle so you don’t have to go back to the garage or shed to grab another tool if you can open up the handle and get a saw/file/etc quickly. Would make a great present for dads/moms.
