SO GOOD
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is a great cover. The leather is a wonderful color, smooth, smells GREAT. The inside has this felt that is so soft you almost can’t feel it. The corner straps in combination with the little locking prongs absolutely glue the kindle to this cover.

great product but no place for book light to be inserted
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
bought this product for a friend. Its not a bad product. But I thought it would have a place to insert the book light just like the other covers. No way. If you dont need a place to put the book light ….just purchase a clip on. otherwise its a great product.

Great cover (but with a bad smell!)
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have had this cover for a few months now. Overall, I think it is great. It holds the Kindle securely, the color is nice, the cover folds back easily, and the exterior leather is soft. I’ve dropped it a short distance a few times, and everything was safe/secure.

My only problem is that it kind of stinks (and it isn’t the normal smell that leather has). I was hoping the smell would dissipate over time, but it is still quite apparent a few months later.

Doesn’t Work with M-Edge e-Luminator2 Kindle Booklight
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I bought this cover as a gift to go along with the new Kindle and M-Edge e-Luminator2 Kindle Booklight. The cover is great and the Kindle fits nice and secure inside. I purchased this one as it was about $15 less than some of the other M-Edge covers. Turns out there is a reason. The M-Edge e-Luminator2 Kindle Booklight is designed to fold and fit in the cover. When you try to close the cover with this model you can’t.

Not designed properly. sending it back

Free Shipping???
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I purchased this for my new Kindle on August 29, 2009. I thought that since the Kindle was so expensive, I would at least use the Free Shipping option for the cover. (My family purchased my Kindle as a gift and paid for standard shipping.) However, even though it was in stock when I purchased it, it won’t ship until September 4! Amazon sent a wordy and professional email in response to my complaint that basically said, “Hey, if you want it faster, pay for shipping!”

I am not impressed with customer service when it comes to this purchase!

Long sailing ship

I have not received this as of yet only because Amazon has taken the potion of delaying shipment on, Free Ship Items. They have done this before with a GPS unit I purchased. As a previous reviewer wrote, this is there stance, Pay For Shipping if you want it faster. I have other options for my internet buying and will in the future exhaust those before selecting the buy button on Amazon. As for there products for the Kindle they kind of have you as the only purchase option. It is with regret however that Amazon has chosen to use such a smelly used car sales technique to punish the customer who buys from them.

Must have for your Kindle
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Excellent product. I cannot compare to the ‘Kindle’ version but the m-edge cover is made with very high quality material. The binding is excellent. Locked the device into it very tight. I was skeptical about the corner straps, but they work perfect and as designed. The color is professional, and the leather smells good! I’d highly recommend this as an add-on to any Kindle

Excellent protection for Kindle 2
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I got my Kindle 2 recently and immediately wondered how to protect it. It’s a beautiful piece of engineering but, like other such devices, easy to get damaged. So I searched for options in Amazon.

A number of the other options had two types of problems: either they did not hold the right side which can lead to cracks on the Kindle (as per the reviews) and/or the material smelled. This one solves both problems and it’s a joy to hold.

I would have liked slightly tighter elastic on the holders on the right corners as they slip off relatively easily, but that’s a very minor issue.

If you love your Kindle 2, this is a great way to protect it.

Fell in love, and it broke my heart
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Buyer beware! This cover may seem like the perfect accessory for your Kindle 2, but it could DESTROY YOUR KINDLE! As you may already know, the hinge system on the Kindle 2 is kinda faulty–if you put too much pressure on the hinges, it starts forcing the Kindle apart and cracking it. With normal use, the latches on the M-edge GO! actually bent upwards and started to break apart my Kindle. Thank God I caught it before it did any permanent damage. I sent it back before the 30 days were up for a full refund. I’m sure there are lots of people who were satisfied with the product, but in my opinion, this cover is NOT WORTH THE RISK.
